Ways to make extra income even with a full time job

I am sure like me you want your bank account to be laughing all day, everyday …. and when I say laughing I mean … having a healthy bank balance 😆

I get asked a lot of the time as to how i cope having a full time job as well as having a side hustle to make extra income for myself. Well my answer is ….. if you put your mind to doing anything you can achieve it…. However, you have to put in the WORK to get the desired result.

Whether you’re looking for cash to launch your startup or make new investments with, or dig out from mounting debt, a few hundred to a few thousand pounds a month can change your life. Here’s some ideas to help get started. I have established one of them and plan to embark on one or two others 😊

  • 1. Start a service business
  • You can do this without a large network, an online presence or much overhead. The easiest way to start is by telling people in your existing network what you’re offering and asking them to spread the word. Examples of service businesses you can start are –

    • Consulting – offering your knowledge and work output as a service… as an example I am an accountant and I have been giving free advice to friends and family … I plan on charging a fee for doing that in the very near future
    • Media – have you got some spare time why don’t u approach businesses to manage their social media accounts for a fee . E.g you can create content/ captions and help manage Instagram accounts
    • Logistics – offering a delivery service
    • Convenience service – saving customers time or making things easier for them e.g cleaning service , school drop off and pickup service etc
  • 2. Invest in property
  • Becoming a landlord isn’t always practical for those who are employed full-time and already strapped for cash. But you can look at buying a small property in another country as a vacation getaway instead. The price tag is typically cheaper.

Commercial real estate can also be a lucrative way to invest and earn passive income, even without a large down payment.

  • 3. Launch an online resource
  • Share your expertise by launching an online ebook or course to help others while you earn passive income. It can be time consuming to start but when it is up and running it is minimal effort to maintain. For My own ebook – watch this space

If writing ebooks isn’t your strong suit, launch a video course 😊 ……. follow my YouTube channel @ Bmamie.

In addition if you need help in creating video content …I have a photography business (which also does videos) that can sort that out for you 😁 @ Dstudioinc photography

  • 4. Get paid to do what you’re already doing
  • Take inventory of what you’re doing in your free time. For example I enjoy taking pictures … I practiced over time … took some training and now I have turned my passion into a business @ Dstudioinc- photography …. I also like to post a lot of motivational stuff on my personal Instagram page @ Mamie Eze

Even if you’re not interested in doing much but relaxing and surfing online, you can earn money by testing websites and recording your opinion with a site like UserTesting.

So, get out there. Use your imagination to start a flow of extra income

On that note guys I bid u farewell….. and as I always say …. more rant to come xoxoxo
